openvpn interface problem

hi im using openvpn to connect but before connecting succesfully he says to me:

 

Successful ARP Flush on interfaceTEST ROUTES: 0/0 succeeded len=1 ret=0 a=0 u/d=downRoute: Waiting for TUN/TAP interface to come up...TEST ROUTES: 2/2 succeeded len=1 ret=1 a=0 u/d=up

is that normal?? it happens recently but persist...

i repeat... after those strings he connect to the server, but is a normal thing or can creates security issues?

Hello!

 

Yes, if the tun/tap interface does not come up (in which case, you are probably running Windows, can you confirm?) OpenVPN will not be able to modify your system routing table and therefore even if a connection to a VPN server is established nothing will get tunneled. Please send us your complete connection logs in order to determine if it's your case.
