Hello,

 

My hosts file includes some entries which prevent some applications from calling home.

 

I would like to learn if my hosts file is still active and blocking all those entries when I am connected to AirVPN servers.

Yes. In order to perform a name resolution, hosts file takes precedence over DNS resolution on every system.
