An account is activated automatically in a few seconds when a payment is received. About account "Fairchilde", it is not yet active because the payment has not been received. As PayPal should have warned you, an eCheck needs 3-5 days to be verified and delivered. When the eCheck is confirmed and PayPal delivers the payment, the account will be activated by the system.
