I know utp and dht can bypass a proxy can they bypass a vpn?Hello!No, with OpenVPN they can't do that, they can't bypass the routing table.Exception: in general, an application can bypass the routing table if it is forced to bind to the physical network interface. However, in order to do so the system administrator needs to force the bind explicitly, or let the application run with administrator privileges. In general, keep in mind that a VPN is not an anti-malware tool, and can't protect you (except in some very specific circumstances) against that malware which in some way elevates itself to administrator privileges in your system.Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
