Tunnelblick VPN configuration: authorization failed

Recommended Posts

I am a very new to using VPN's. I set up AirVPN and Tunnelblick about 2 months ago and have been using it without any problems until tonight. When I tried to connect to Tunnelblick I am now getting an error message:

Tunnelblick VPN Configuration: Authentication failed

The credentials (passphrase or username/password) were not accepted b the remote VPN server.

So, I am guessing that for some reason Tunnelblick no longer is accepting my username/password that has been working all along. I have made no changes to the information that I know of, to be honest I cannot even remember how I would go about doing that.

Can someone help me get back on track to fix this problem? I have included my log.

I am having Tunnelblick Configuration Authentication failed problems right now. I think I am setup to use the Octantis server which is currently down. Is this possibly the cause of my problem?

If so, how do I change my settings to use another server?

Hello!

You're trying to connect to an unavailable VPN server.

Please connect to any other VPN server.

You can check anytime Air servers status here:

https://airvpn.org/status

In your "Member Area"->"Your details" panel you can see the reason of the last failed connection attempt.

In order to add configurations to Tunnelblick for easy and quick servers switching:

http://code.google.com/p/tunnelblick/wiki/cConfigT#Creating_and_Installing_a_Tunnelblick_VPN_Configuration

You can ignore step 4: the files generated by our configuration generator are already fully compatible with Tunnelblick, they do not contain a path to certificates and key.

Kind regards
