ThirdGazometric 0 Posted ... Hi, I was wondering if theres a way to get Bluetit to connect to a server other than the one its currently connected to? When reconnecting (by goldcrest --reconnect) it connects to the best server available, which usually doesn't change for me that often. The problem I'm trying to solve is that sometimes a site is denying access because of the server I'm currently connected to is on a blocklist, or sometimes I'm just not getting a good connection on a server. In these cases, it would be nice to be able to reconnect to a new server. Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 10693 Posted ... Hello! Yes. To select another server automatically, exclude the current server when starting a new connection. For example, if you are connected to Comae: goldcrest --disconnect goldcrest --air-connect --air-black-server-list Comae Wait for disconnection to complete before running the second command. Replace Comae with your current server’s name. --reconnect alone does not request a different server. Alternatively, after disconnecting, choose a replacement explicitly: goldcrest --air-connect --air-server SERVER_NAME Replace SERVER_NAME with the desired server name. IMPORTANT: your usual Goldcrest authentication and Bluetit’s server/country restrictions still apply. To make an exclusion persistent, add: air-black-server-list Comae to your Goldcrest configuration (~/.config/goldcrest.rc or ~/.goldcrest.rc, depending on your setup). If you configured a fixed air-server, change or remove it when you want automatic selection. Please read the user's manual: https://gitlab.com/AirVPN/AirVPN-Suite/-/blob/master/AirVPN-Suite/README.md#goldcrest-configuration Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
