DeepAnger 1 Posted ... The question in the title comes from this screenshot (line 3 and line 1). Is this a bug or maybe I don't understand how these are calculated ? Quote Share this post Link to post

Could be a very short disconnect on the user's side which was short enough to not destroy the session on AirVPN's infrastructure side, and so the session was reused when the client reconnected. Probably a Wireguard user; with Wireguard, the peer is removed only after three minutes without a handshake. No way for the server to know otherwise, Wireguard peers don't tell each other that someone disconnected (OpenVPN in UDP mode also doesn't, but that can be worked around with the OpenVPN option --explicit-exit-notify which AirVPN always sets, and so the server can wipe the client info directly after disconnection, and therefore the session info). Yes: because of the high amount of simultaneous connections globally, the counters are updated in an intentional "lazy" way, in order to avoid that the stats become potentially onerous in terms of CPU load etc. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
