Problems with upgrading & ip revealed

So for a little over a week I have had this problem with AirVPN. Whenever I run the program it shows comes up as v1.7 (despite having installed v1.8) and prompts me to upgrade to the new version of OpenVPN (which I have installed numerous times now). After I agree to upgrade and it does so again, I can connect to any server. However, my IP never actually changes, and therefore I suppose the connection really isn't made. I'll close it and try to run it again, and the whole thing will repeat. Any idea what this is?

Hello!

The Air client is portable, it does not need any installation. You are probably running your previous Air client version, please make sure that you run the latest version. The logs do not show any particular problem, but if you have Windows 8 please try Air client 1.8 with OpenVPN 2.3.0, it should fix your issue. Please pick the correct version (according to your system, 32 bit or 64 bit) here:

Definitely running v1.8 and OpenVPN 2.3.0 for Windows 7 32 bit (which is what my system is). Still can't manage to truly connect to any of the servers and keep the real ip from showing.

Apparently everything is ok. Your home network Ip range does not seem to overlap with the VPN one (can you please confirm that it is 10.102.0.0/255.255.0.0 ?).
