Port Forwarding issue

Hello -

I have a port set up to forward on AirVPN.   When I use AirVPN's port test the result says the port is open.   However, if I use a third party port tester, pointed at the VPN external IP address they all say the port is closed.

Am I doing something wrong?

Nothing wrong, it's possible that the third party service is malfunctioning. Are you able to reach your listening service from the Internet?
