ANSWERED iOS Device Not Listed as Connected in "Devices" Client Area

Recommended Posts

I have the OpenVPN and WireGuard VPN applications installed on an iOS device. I have used the config generator for a few OpenVPN/Wireguard server options and successfully imported them into their respective applications. Everything works, the VPN connects etc.

However, when I access the client area and go under the iOS device I created under the "Devices" section, the device said it has never connected to the VPN. Is there any reason for that? I set different DNS/Port forwarding settings for the iOS device but now I'm concerned those settings are not properly being applied to my iOS device when connected via OpenVPN/Wireguard.

Hello!

Everything looks fine, please re-check your "Client Area". Anyway, to stay on the safe side, please browse ipleak.net. Make sure that your "real" IP address doesn't appear anywhere, so you can be 100% positive that your connection works as expected. If you see any issue, please do not hesitate to update this thread and above all open a ticket for pro support.

Kind regards

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up figuring it out myself and was a simple oversight in the config settings I had when setting up the OpenVPN/Wireguard applications on the iOS device. Everything appears and works as normal now.
