ANSWERED Advertisement window focus stealing is intrusive on Windows

Whenever there is a promotion, the advertisement popup window pops up.

Usually right at the time when I'm about to click the "Connect" button, so instead of that I'm hitting the advertisement link or button, which tries to open up the link in my browser.
And as I'm just about to connect, I'm still out on the net without a vpn connection, and (among others) the domain "airvpn.org" is blocked by a firewall, that's why I need a vpn in the first place.

As a consequence, every time it happens, I'm there in the firewall's blocking log as trying to access airvpn.org, again and again.
I don't know how many times it should happen before triggering an alarm, but I don't want to find it out either.

Could you *please* add a setting where I can turn off this advertisement popup, or just display its content in the main window as far away from the connect button as possible, or hook that window not to the "program started" event but to the "vpn established", or at least just show the link as plain text so clicking it doesn't open a browser to it?

Hello!

This option has been always available, you can find it in "Preferences" > "UI". Check "Skip promotional messages" and click "Save".
In Eddie Android edition just tap "Do not show anymore" option, located at the bottom of the promotional picture.

You can configure Eddie to connect when it is launched.
