hellophia 0 Posted ... hello, I can't get online at all with or without eddie. I ran into an issue where the client was timing out on "checking authorization." I tried to quit and restart the client, but it wouldn't quit, just stalled on quitting indefinitely. I force quit, restarted my laptop, no luck. I looked up possible solutions online and tried things I found on these forums. I tried deleting DNS servers from the network settings and put 8.8.8.8 instead. I tried renewing the DHCP lease. I tried flushing DNS cache. I tried deleting my profile, now the client times out on login. even with eddie closed I can't connect (error: dns_probe_finished_no_internet), so I can't reinstall it because I have no internet access. We usually recommend Quad9: 9.9.9.9 149.112.112.112 2620:fe::fe for their commitment to privacy and neutrality.
