Coldwave 0 Posted ... Hello. As I was reading forums, I went and installed Comodo Firewall to gain more security and privacy. Along with these settings I think I'm missing something. There's no connection when Comodo Firewall is on, even before connecting to any server or so. I'm using wired connection at my home, though I tried wireless one, it still didn't work. What am I missing in those settings? Thanks for the awesome service you provide. http://i50.tinypic.com/1z518g5.png http://i48.tinypic.com/s3er2b.png http://i45.tinypic.com/ztfy2r.png Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello! There are some issues in your rules and in your network zones. The fix is anyway very quick.About the rules, please add the following Allow rule and place it higher than the Block rule:Allow IP In/Out From MAC Any To IP 255.255.255.255 Where Protocol Is AnyAbout the network zones:- please modify your [Home Network] network zone to: IP In [192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255] (you mismatched IP range with IP / Netmask)- please modify your [Loopback Zone] network zone to:IP In [127.0.0.0 - 127.255.255.255] (same reason)From the guide:Pay attention not to confuse the "-" symbol, which stands for "IP range", with the "/" symbol, which stands for IP address / NetMask. For example, [10.4.0.0 - 10.9.255.255] is correct (the IP range from 10.4.0.0 to 10.9.255.255), while [10.4.0.0 / 10.9.255.255] is NOT correct (IP 10.4.0.0 NetMask 10.9.255.255, which covers almost every existing IP address!).Finally, make sure you have modified your hosts file if you use the Air client (step 12 in our guide).Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post

Staff 9972 Posted ... I'm having the same problem, I'm doing something wrong but can' figure out.http://imgur.com/VQDRvyuhttp://imgur.com/M4ajVwAhttp://imgur.com/VCFiifSHello!There are two problems. The second Network Zone (right below [Loopback Zone]) must be defined as IP In [192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255]instead of IP In [192.169.0.0 - 192.168.255.255]Also, the IP address 119.81.15.216 is not an entry-IP address, it is an exit-IP address. No OpenVPN connections from our clients are possible on the exit-IP addresses. You must replace it with the entry-IP address of Puppis.Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
