oak1776 0 Posted ... Problem: My Air VPN client won't connect. Setup: Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium, TPLINK TL-WN722N wireless adapter I first start Tor, just as the instructions on the Air VPN website say. Next I start the Air VPN client. I have told the client to enable a SOCKS proxy on 127.0.0.1 port 9050. Tor loads fine. I can log into the Air VPN client with no trouble. My user ID and password are accepted. But when I go to select an Air VPN server, and then tell the client to connect, I get an error message "VPN failed to start." Any idea what the problem is? I have wasted a lot of time trying to get this to work. Help is appreciated. There are no log files in the Program Files\Windows\Open VPN\log folder for me to post. I could post my tor logs if that would help. ???? Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello! Can you please send us the logs? If you use the Air client you can't find the logs in that directory. Please right-click in the Air dock icon (after you have tried a connection over Air over TOR), select "Logs" and click "Copy to clipboard" button. Then paste here. kingdave 2 Posted ... After your log-in to AIRVPN is accepted click on server u heart desire, then look at top and see little tiny tab that say MODE. Click this tab and select 443 TCP port. You welcome :-))) They need to update directions on site. Quote Share this post Link to post
