hedgehoq 2 Posted ... Apologies if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find anything. I have one app on my Ubuntu laptop (ungoogled chromium) that I use specifically for banking, work, and Wikipedia editing. I'd like a way to use this app, and only this app, with my real IP address without VPN, while still having the VPN connection running for the rest of the laptop e.g. for Firefox, Brave, email app, etc. Is it possible to whitelist one app from the VPN connection, while keeping it on for the rest? What about specific websites? I could just input the addresses for my bank, work, and Wikipedia Quote Share this post Link to post

Yes, you can do it with the AirVPN Suite 2.0.0 component Bluetit. You can run that application via the provided software cuckoo once the system is connected to the VPN (also run airsu before in order to prepare the graphic environment variables for the ungoogled Chromium). Then, only this one app will have its traffic routed outside the VPN tunnel. Please see here: https://airvpn.org/forums/topic/66706-linux-airvpn-suite-200-preview-available/ AirVPN Suite 2.0.0 is currently a Release Candidate, but it has reached a remarkable reliability and stability. Release Candidate 2 is also imminent, so the stable release will come in the very near future. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post

I extracted the .tar file and ran install.sh as root, "yes" to everything, it said "Done", and that's that. You've done great work and it looks like it works for everyone else. My only feedback is to have a GUI like with Eddie, for people like me Thanks for the answer, Suite, and everything else. Quote Share this post Link to post
