OpenSourcerer 1474 Posted ... You're faced with a very similar problem as those who want to allow Netflix to bypass the VPN. Steam's backends are all hosted on big CDNs with thousands of IP addresses, in the case of Steam it's mostly Akamai with some others and even their own. You'd either need to hunt down every single range used by Steam or allow all CDN addresses to pass the VPN, but then accept that other CDN-hosted services will also pass the VPN – which would completely defeat the point because most if not all big services deliver their content via those CDNs; it'd be much more economic to just disconnect the VPN. Also, maybe you shouldn't do competitive gaming with a VPN? It's at least a yellow flag, you know. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. You could split the traffic of the application you run to access CS2 or Steam (a browser and/or a dedicated game client, we don't know). All the traffic of the system would continue flowing into the VPN tunnel except the specific Steam related applications traffic. While no trivial solution is available for macOS at the moment (you could consider virtualization), on Linux you can achieve app traffic splitting with the AirVPN Suite 2, on Windows with WireSock, on Android with Eddie Android edition.
