Glorystory 0 Posted ... This was my results via DNSleaktest.com I was a little confused from some of the wording on that site. It said you had a DNS leak if your ISP name was listed. Which in this case, mine was. Only... those IP addresses don't match me at all. So I was just wondering if that wording was off and the site meant "IP" rather than "ISP" in the following statement. "If you are connected to an anonymity/privacy service and ANY of the servers listed below are from your ISP then your DNS is leaking. (You should be able to recognise them based on the hostname and location)." They didn't spell "recognize" right, so I guess it's possible. Or do I actually have a leak? Any information you can give me on this would be great. I pasted my results below. IP: 74.125.18.215 Hostname: ea-in-f215.1e100.net ISP: Google Country: Germany IP: 74.125.18.153 Hostname: 74.125.18.153 ISP: Google Country: Germany IP: 74.125.18.161 Hostname: 74.125.18.161 ISP: Google Country: Germany IP: 71.250.0.36 Hostname: 71.250.0.36 ISP: Verizon Internet Services Country: United States IP: 71.250.0.39 Hostname: 71.250.0.39 ISP: Verizon Internet Services Country: United States IP: 71.250.0.37 Hostname: 71.250.0.37 ISP: Verizon Internet Services Country: United States Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9973 Posted ... Hello! Apparently you do actually have a DNS leak. In order to prevent any leak (including DNS leaks and leaks in case of unexpected VPN disconnection) please see here: https://airvpn.org/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=3&id=3405&Itemid=142 Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
