ANSWERED Fetch url error:SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK

I am experiencing the same issue as in this post starting approximately 1 hour ago. https://airvpn.org/forums/topic/49412-fetch-url-errorssl-peer-certificate-or-ssh-remote-key-was-not-ok/
I am on Eddie 2.24.5 (I think this was a beta version, to fix some other issue). The fix as mentioned by rosewellzz in the thread above worked for me.

As an aside my system crashed and could be related to that although my troubleshooting as of current was unsuccessful and my system is working normally in all other regards, and to access the internet and make this post connected to AirVPN with the above workaround.

(Solved by disabling the route and DNS check).
