misam 9 Posted ... Eddie 2.24.6 deb version does not connect anymore to any server as of today. It prompts a "wireguard handshake timeout" error. Switching to another protocol (openVPN) does not help because it starts connecting/disconnecting loop until I exit it. Strangely enough, no issues with the Fedora version and the Arch (AUR) version, they both work perfectly. Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 10051 Posted ... Hello! Can you please send us a system report generated by Eddie just after connection attempts with OpenVPN and WireGuard have failed? Staff 10051 Posted ... Hello! From your ticket, we post the reply here according to your request and for readers' comfort. Thank you, we see the problem. You forced Eddie to connect over IPv6 but there is no IPv6 gateway in your system. Quote network.entry.iplayer: ipv6-ipv4 but Quote . 2025.01.16 16:31:05 - Routes, skipped for 2001:ac8:20:2a:818d:602e:cf31:f199 : IPv6 Net gateway not available. Either your router or your ISP are not offering IPv6 support, or were not offering it when you generated the report. You should be able to solve the problem by switching back to IPv4 connection, the default setting. You can do it in Eddie's "Preferences" > "Networking" window, on the "Internet Protocol used for connection" combo box. Set it to "IPv4, IPv6" (currently you switched to "IPv6, IPv4").
