ANSWERED Eddie keeps disconnecting

Recommended Posts

Posted ... (edited)

I just re-subscribed (black friday deal goes crazy) and tried launching Eddie-UI again to test my connection.
When I try to connect to any server, it just shows "connecting" to "disconnecting" to trying again on the next server down the list.

I've tried following the suggestions by Novak1571 below but it hasn't helped.

Quote
- Go to https://airvpn.org/
- Select the "Client Area" tab
- Under "VPN Devices" click the "Manage" button
- Click the "Details" button
- Click the "Renew" button

Then do what Staff says in the above post:

- run Eddie
- on Eddie's main window uncheck "Remember me"
- log your account out
- log your account in (you'll need to re-enter your AirVPN credentials)
- try again a connection

Here's the link to that whole thread in case anybody else has similar issues.
The log mentions something about a tapctl interface, but Eddie worked before just fine. Here's those lines:
Quote
. 2024.12.02 10:59:54 - OpenVPN > open_tun
. 2024.12.02 10:59:54 - OpenVPN > There are no TAP-Windows nor Wintun adapters on this system.  You should be able to create an adapter by using tapctl.exe utility.
. 2024.12.02 10:59:54 - OpenVPN > Exiting due to fatal error
! 2024.12.02 10:59:54 - Disconnecting

Has there been an update of some kind? Or am I just missing something basic here?
Also I've attached my network adapters, and I see an OpenVPN adapter of... some kind, but I don't know what it is.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
