Please test yourself. In general a packet loss must be avoided.

Chicago servers have not suffered any attack lately. The New York servers currently suffer a packet loss on IPv6 addresses only. If you don't need IPv6 you can connect to NYC servers. We are investigating the issue with the help of dc techies.
