Help from VPN Newbie!

Hi,

Newbie to this whole VPN stuff,

I have openVPN installed using the airvpn client (windows 8 version) on Windows 8

I managed to connect to a server, however once connected I go to the AirVPN site and it states I am not connected. I check my IP address using a website and it still states my standard IP ( I assume it should state the new one)

Sorry if I am missing something obvious, any help appreciated
