Staff 9972 Posted ... I seem to not be the only one who is experiencing this issue.AirVPN -- please address this issue that several of us have been experiencing!!!!!!!Hello! The problem explained by shane_b occurs usually when there's a wake up on a sleeping Mac OS X system running Viscosity (an OpenVPN wrapper). As far as we can see it's a Mac problem which needs to be investigated on the client side, do you experience the very same issue? The fact that a reboot is needed suggests that OpenVPN should be checked in order to ascertain the system status, for example whether multiple instances are concurrently running.Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Indigo35 4 Posted ... Yes. I do experience this while using Viscosity on my Mac; however, I am not putting my Mac to sleep, ever. Quote Share this post Link to post
shane_b 0 Posted ... Can i just explain further. The problem doesn't solely occur when coming out of sleep. It happens when a the connection is lost (sleep, accidentally closing viscosity, turning off airport etc..) and then attempting to re-establish a connection. Also a reboot does not seem to fix the problem, I just go through the same steps to attempt to reconnect, but there seems to be nothing that work it just randomly decides to connect. I would guess that it has something to do with some sort of auth timeout and that we can eventually re-estaliblish a connection because it eventually gets reset. The best way i've found to simulate this issue is....connect with viscosity and then click on airport and turn it off while all connections are still live. Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9972 Posted ... Can I ask if this is being investigated ?Hello! We are currently unable to reproduce the behavior and the investigation goes on.Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
shane_b 0 Posted ... Is there anything I can do. I can forward all my waterproof settings etc.. as I can replicate it every time. Quote Share this post Link to post
