Does the VPN auto disconnect?

If I dont use my connection for a while will the VPN see that there is no/very little traffic coming and disconnect? I went out of town for a few days and came back to no VPN connection. Restarting my router re-connected me though.

Hello!

The configuration allows the client to remain always connected and to retry connections in case of accidental disconnection. If you had to reboot the router, maybe it had crashed?
