ANSWERED RuTorrent Port Forwarding help

Hi i have assigned all 5 of my managed ports to different things, one is for localhost 80, one is for plex the other 3 are for rutorrent ports (31000-31002).

rutorrent ports:

example ive got <PUB.IP>:31000-31002 forwarded on my router to <RuTorrent.LOCAL.IP>:41000-41002

If i set my  rutorrent config to 31000-31002 always shows as ports closed.

if i set my rtorrent config to 41000-41002 still shows as ports closed

am i misunderstanding how this is supposed to work?
