ANSWERED Port Forward - new behavior and features

Recommended Posts

I am going to hijack this topic instead of opening a new one for a very simple answer to my question. I am an old user of airvpn, back in the day when you wanted to check the status of your forwarded port you clicked check and the green dot turned on.

Today is not that way, so if you check your port and you get a (111) connection refused it means no worky worky, but if you get nothing in the response it means its working?

Like i said dumb question.

Hello!

It can mean that the port is "disabled", although the linked device is connected to some VPN server. The new switch "Enable" (on/off), available on each forwarded port in the AirVPN account panel, has been added recently and offers more flexibility. If you get "No ports open", instead, it means that the device linked to the port is not connected to any VPN server.

Kind regards
