Rodent 5 Posted ... It says on my VPN connection that AirVPN inevitably knows my real IP but when I disconnect that all traces are gone. So if I'm connected to a server for 1 week continuously and AirVPN received a DMCA notice, would I be associated because my connection was enabled the whole time? I haven't used an email address so I can't be forwarded any notices but because of the connection not being disconnected is it possible my IP can still be found? Quote Share this post Link to post

Correct, we can't know it. @Rodent The problem would perhaps arise only if the client is still connected and it was constantly and still is the only one connected to a VPN server (which is nearly impossible).
