kdirh3381 0 Posted ... Hello, I am wondering if the server usage in the AirVPN dashboard is accurate? If you go to https://spur.us/context/<IP ADDRESS> it will supposedly tell you how many users are regularly seen using this IP address. In this case it is useful to see how potentially "anonymized" one may be while using a specific VPN server. How come for example it says "few devices online" when in the AirVPN server usage page it shows say "80" sessions? I know spur may not be accurate too, but thought it worth asking about. Staff 9972 Posted ... @kdirh3381 Hello! The amount of connections per server is highly accurate. Within the limit of the update, taking place every minute, it's 100% precise because it is the arithmetic sum of all OpenVPN and WireGuard connections as counted by the servers themselves. The dashboard says "users" but in reality they are connections, so if a user connects five devices to the same server, they will be counted as five connections/"users", so the accuracy remains 100% precise.
