BatteriesNI 1 Posted ... Hi, I recently bought AirVPN and I have got it to work just fine on both my phone and Chromebook, but my main PC hasn't been able to connect. Some notable details are that I'm on a college network, but ExpressVPN works fine (in fact, the logs say AirVPN uses something from ExpressVPN). I've tried some basic stuff (restart, uninstall, etc) but I think people who actually know what they are doing will need to help me. Here's the logs: Quote . 2023.08.29 21:01:43 - Eddie version: 2.21.8 / windows_x64, System: Windows, Name: Windows 10 Home, Version: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19045.0, Mono/.Net: v4.0.30319 . 2023.08.29 21:01:50 - Reading options from T:\AirVPN\default.profile . 2023.08.29 21:01:53 - OpenVPN - Version: 2.5.5 - OpenSSL 1.1.1l 24 Aug 2021, LZO 2.10 (T:\AirVPN\openvpn.exe) . 2023.08.29 21:01:53 - SSH - Version: plink 0.73 (T:\AirVPN\plink.exe) . 2023.08.29 21:01:53 - SSL - Version: stunnel 5.56 (T:\AirVPN\stunnel.exe) I 2023.08.29 21:01:55 - Ready . 2023.08.29 21:01:58 - Cannot retrieve information about AirVPN: Fetch url error:Failure when receiving data from the peer I 2023.08.29 21:02:49 - Session starting. Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello! The Express VPN interface causes a critical error to OpenVPN: Quote . 2023.08.29 21:02:52 - Using WinTun network interface "Local Area Connection (ExpressVPN TUN Driver)" ... . 2023.08.29 21:02:53 - OpenVPN > There are no TAP-Windows nor Wintun adapters on this system. You should be able to create an adapter by using tapctl.exe utility. Tell Eddie to ignore any alien interface: Select from Eddie's main window Preferences > Networking, write eddie in the "VPN interface name" field click Save. You may also consider to switch to WireGuard to bypass the alien interface. You can do it in Preferences > Protocols window. Uncheck Automatic, select a WireGuard connection mode and click Save. Kind regards 1 4 MisakaMisakaS100, David Biggs, Stolen Compass and 2 others reacted to this Share this post Link to post
