Miramis 0 Posted ... Hello, I just subscribed for a year looking forward to this service, but I haven't been able to connect yet. I can connect to the AirVPN client just fine and it looks like I connect to the chosen server, but when entering airpvn.org it says I'm not connected and showing my IP. I looked around the forum and tried some fixes (I'm no computer wiz, so maybe I didn't get it all): - checked that my firewall allows openvnp.exe - TAP-Win32 adapter v9 is enabled. I tried to disable and enable it and also tried to reinstall OpenVPN I also tried different servers but still not working, please help! Running win7 home 64bit, and here are my logs: 27-10-2012 - 15:41 AirVPN client version: 1,7 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Reading options from C:\Users\Siri\AppData\Roaming\AirVPN\Air\1.0.0.0\AirVPN.xml 27-10-2012 - 15:41 OpenVPN bundle version: OpenVPN 2.2.2 27-10-2012 - 15:41 OpenVPN current version: OpenVPN 2.2.2 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Ready. 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Login... 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Login success. 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Contacting service... 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Connecting... 27-10-2012 - 15:41 OpenVPN 2.2.2 Win32-MSVC++ [sSL] [LZO2] [PKCS11] built on Dec 15 2011 27-10-2012 - 15:41 NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables 27-10-2012 - 15:41 LZO compression initialized 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Control Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:138 EF:38 EB:0 ET:0 EL:0 ] 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Socket Buffers: R=[8192->8192] S=[8192->8192] 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Data Channel MTU parms [ L:1558 D:1450 EF:58 EB:135 ET:0 EL:0 AF:3/1 ] 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Local Options hash (VER=V4): '22188c5b' 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Expected Remote Options hash (VER=V4): 'a8f55717' 27-10-2012 - 15:41 UDPv4 link local: [undef] 27-10-2012 - 15:41 UDPv4 link remote: 94.242.205.234:443 27-10-2012 - 15:41 TLS: Initial packet from 94.242.205.234:443, sid=75336603 2666b0db 27-10-2012 - 15:41 VERIFY OK: depth=1, /C=IT/ST=IT/L=Perugia/O=airvpn.org/CN=airvpn.org_CA/emailAddress=info@airvpn.org 27-10-2012 - 15:41 VERIFY OK: nsCertType=SERVER 27-10-2012 - 15:41 VERIFY OK: depth=0, /C=IT/ST=IT/L=Perugia/O=airvpn.org/CN=server/emailAddress=info@airvpn.org 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Data Channel Encrypt: Cipher 'AES-256-CBC' initialized with 256 bit key 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Data Channel Encrypt: Using 160 bit message hash 'SHA1' for HMAC authentication 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Data Channel Decrypt: Cipher 'AES-256-CBC' initialized with 256 bit key 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Data Channel Decrypt: Using 160 bit message hash 'SHA1' for HMAC authentication 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Control Channel: TLSv1, cipher TLSv1/SSLv3 DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA, 2048 bit RSA 27-10-2012 - 15:41 [server] Peer Connection Initiated with 94.242.205.234:443 27-10-2012 - 15:41 SENT CONTROL [server]: 'PUSH_REQUEST' (status=1) 27-10-2012 - 15:41 PUSH: Received control message: 'PUSH_REPLY,redirect-gateway def1,dhcp-option DNS 10.4.0.1,comp-lzo no,route 10.4.0.1,topology net30,ping 10,ping-restart 60,ifconfig 10.4.4.246 10.4.4.245' 27-10-2012 - 15:41 OPTIONS IMPORT: timers and/or timeouts modified 27-10-2012 - 15:41 OPTIONS IMPORT: LZO parms modified 27-10-2012 - 15:41 OPTIONS IMPORT: --ifconfig/up options modified 27-10-2012 - 15:41 OPTIONS IMPORT: route options modified 27-10-2012 - 15:41 OPTIONS IMPORT: --ip-win32 and/or --dhcp-option options modified 27-10-2012 - 15:41 ROUTE default_gateway=192.168.0.1 27-10-2012 - 15:41 TAP-WIN32 device [LAN-forbindelse 2] opened: \\.\Global\{FBDF3D47-4FF5-4AF9-A3BE-9272B0E6DBF5}.tap 27-10-2012 - 15:41 TAP-Win32 Driver Version 9.9 27-10-2012 - 15:41 TAP-Win32 MTU=1500 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Notified TAP-Win32 driver to set a DHCP IP/netmask of 10.4.4.246/255.255.255.252 on interface {FBDF3D47-4FF5-4AF9-A3BE-9272B0E6DBF5} [DHCP-serv: 10.4.4.245, lease-time: 31536000] 27-10-2012 - 15:41 Successful ARP Flush on interface [42] {FBDF3D47-4FF5-4AF9-A3BE-9272B0E6DBF5} 27-10-2012 - 15:42 TEST ROUTES: 2/2 succeeded len=1 ret=1 a=0 u/d=up 27-10-2012 - 15:42 C:\WINDOWS\system32\route.exe ADD 94.242.205.234 MASK 255.255.255.255 192.168.0.1 27-10-2012 - 15:42 ROUTE: CreateIpForwardEntry succeeded with dwForwardMetric1=25 and dwForwardType=4 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Route addition via IPAPI succeeded [adaptive] 27-10-2012 - 15:42 C:\WINDOWS\system32\route.exe ADD 0.0.0.0 MASK 128.0.0.0 10.4.4.245 27-10-2012 - 15:42 ROUTE: CreateIpForwardEntry succeeded with dwForwardMetric1=30 and dwForwardType=4 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Route addition via IPAPI succeeded [adaptive] 27-10-2012 - 15:42 C:\WINDOWS\system32\route.exe ADD 128.0.0.0 MASK 128.0.0.0 10.4.4.245 27-10-2012 - 15:42 ROUTE: CreateIpForwardEntry succeeded with dwForwardMetric1=30 and dwForwardType=4 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Route addition via IPAPI succeeded [adaptive] 27-10-2012 - 15:42 C:\WINDOWS\system32\route.exe ADD 10.4.0.1 MASK 255.255.255.255 10.4.4.245 27-10-2012 - 15:42 ROUTE: CreateIpForwardEntry succeeded with dwForwardMetric1=30 and dwForwardType=4 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Route addition via IPAPI succeeded [adaptive] 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Initialization Sequence Completed 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Starting Management Interface... 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Checking... 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Retrieve statistics... 27-10-2012 - 15:42 Connected. Staff 10052 Posted ... @Miramis Hello! The logs appear just fine. Can you please send us the output of the commands (issued from a command prompt) "ipconfig /all" and "route print" after the connection to a VPN server is established? Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
Miramis 0 Posted ... Hello, For some reason it suddenly works. The only thing I can think of I did since trying last is updating the driver for my wireless adapter and then running the command prompts you asked for and checking my IP while using a torrent program after connecting to a VPN via checkmytorrentip.com. I don't see how this can have an effect, but I'm just happy it works now. Thank you a lot for a quick response. Quote Share this post Link to post
Miramis 0 Posted ... For some reason it works now, but thank you for a quick response. Now I have another problem: I can't see the speed test on airvpn.org but only a black square. I assumed it was a flash thing so I updated my plug in but its still not working. Its the same issue if I navigate directly to speedtest.net. Pingtest.net works fine though and so do other speed tests online. Please help as I was in the middle of figuring out which server and port is the best for me and I need your internal test to do that. Thanks! Quote Share this post Link to post
