latitude 0 Posted ... First connected to TOR then tried to set up the OpenVPN in Ubuntu. I followed all the steps but am getting errors. The default settings with Type: Certificates (TSL), user.crt, ca.crt, and user.key with "private pass key" (my login password to airvpn?) gives me a "Connection Attempt Timed Out." Also tried the "Password with Certificate (TSL)" where I type in username + password, with same error. It must have to do with me not knowing what the "private pass key" option is supposed to be. Obviously not my account user name pass? Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9972 Posted ... Hello! No password authentication is required, you have server certificate, client certificate and client key. All of them are pointed by your .ovpn configuration file(s). Which client are you using to connect? Can you please try OpenVPN directly and send us the logs? Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
MrConducter 11 Posted ... When you downloaded the config file did you select Socks proxy port 9050? Quote Share this post Link to post
