Strange Bittorrent incident

hello,

i'm not sure if this really is a vpn issue, but it may have to do with networking so i'll just ask here:

while downloading with bittorrent 7.6, i had a look at the list of connescted peers. normally, in the first column i see the ip adress of each of them. strangely, on connected peer didn't display its ip, but the nam of my computer.

how could this be? is it similar to an emule nick-thief and therefore harmless, or should i be worried?

When you see that, can you please make sure that you are connected to the VPN and that Bittorrent is NOT configured to use a (local) proxy?

hello,

i was of course connected to vpn, with comodo configured to allow connections through the tunnel only. no proxy is set (proxy type "none" and all the other proxy checkboxes greyed out.
