[macOS] Eddie - unable to obtain elevated privileges

When macOS 10.15.7 loses power/shuts down hard, I'm unable to run Eddie anymore.
All I get is following error message

Unable to obtain elevated privileges (required): Unable to start (Client not allowed: Unable to obtain signature of local)

Tried uninstalling Eddie and reinstalling, restarting, nothing works.

Running Hummingbird does only work after I run --recover-network, thankfully this is working now.
But I prefer Eddie until Hummingbird is able to choose fastest server of a given country.

I already deleted the Eddie folder in .config of %user, in case some old config was messing things up. Same issue remains

What else can I do?

Hello!

Can you please make sure that you're running the notarized version for macOS Catalina and higher versions? Anyway this error is under investigation. Do you run macOS in an Intel or M1 based Mac?

You might like to generate a configuration file for the country you want to connect to. In this way it's the record of the domain name contained in the configuration file which gets updated regularly to make the name resolve into the IP address of the "best" server in that country, so Hummingbird will connect to that one.

Yes it's the notarized version I'm trying to run, on an Intel based CPU.

*edit* @Staff I did just create some country ovpn profiles in the config generator, but Hummingbird is not able to resolve the requested server(list) with the country profile. Tested Sweden and Switzerland

Update*

I'm able to run the new beta of Eddie 2.21.0 - all previous versions I tried were unable to elevate their priviledge.

Thanks for continuing to improve Eddie, I really appreciate it.
