Hi - the instructions for setting up AirVPN on Chromebook are very helpful, and worked for me.
https://airvpn.org/chromeos/

But I cannot figure out if the "block-outside-dns" (or similar) command is enabled as part of this software and settings.

When I used dnsleaktest.com I don't see any leaks, and it seems like the "tunnel" is secure. So:

Can someone tell me if the AirVPN Chromebook set up has the same "network lock" functionality as Eddie does when I use it on a Mac?

Is there a code to use or setting to *check* to make sure this is *always* enabled (block outside dns etc.)?

Thank you!

You mean OpenVPN's block-outside-dns directive? It actually only fully works on Windows.
Check on ipleak.net if you're leaking DNS.

Thank you for the reply.

I wanted to learn if AirVPN's setup, which use Chromebook's VPN configurations capabilities, enables a reliable DNS leak block.

I mentioned the block-outside-dns command (and my experience with Network Lock on Eddie on Mac) as examples of the DNS blocking I'm seeking on Chromebook.

Online leak tests seem to show the VPN is *not* leaking but I wanted to know if this protection is built into the function of the VPN configuration on Chromebook (as with Eddie Network Lock on Mac).

Thank you!
