Hummingbird Client 1.1.1 RC 1 standalone

OS: Linux Mint 20.1
I'm using Hummingbird Client 1.1.1 RC 1 by itself (extracted from the AirVPN Suite).  When I press Ctrl+c to end a session, I have no internet connection and have to reboot to restore it.  Hummingbird 1.1.0 restored my original connection when terminating the session with Ctrl+c. 
The Hummingbird file resides in /etc/AirVPN.  I have disabled systemd-resolved, but I still use NetworkManager.  What do I have to do to restore my default internet connection?  Or, should I revert back to Hummingbird 1.1.0?  (I would install the whole Suite but I really don't need AirVPN DNS at startup or network lock.)

Why not edit the runcontrol file, then?

Hello!

We will investigate. Can you confirm that the problem does not occur in HB 1.1.0? Please note that Bluetit 1.0.0 RC 1 does not have the ability to enforce network lock and a connection at system bootstrap. Bluetit 1.0.0 stable release will have this ability, but of course it will be optional.

Can you also send us whole terminal output after you have pressed CTRL-C (or have sent a SIGTERM to HB process), as well as the content of /etc/airvpn?

I went back to HB 1.0.0 and re-enabled systemd-resolved; even a reboot wouldn't connect me to the internet.  Also, I updated Mint to 20.1 and its kernel to a higher series (5.8) a couple of days ago, so significant system changes - bound to be some hiccups.  I will try HB 1.1.1 RC1 another time to see if I can terminate it and restore original DNS settings.  Plus, I may not have set up chmod and chown properly when I switched the binaries.
