Unable to connect - IPv6 - error code 1

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am unable to connect to an AirVPN server. It appears to be an issue with the IPv6 route.

I get the following error:

"OpenVPN > ERROR: Windows route add ipv6 command failed: returned error code 1"

I have not changed any settings etc so I do not understand why this is now happening. I have attached my logs for a typical connection attempt below.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

You are the second one I see with exactly the same thing recently. Error when setting, then failing to check v6 routes. There is no solution yet. Workaround is disabling v6 for now, of course (Preferences > Networking > Set Layer IPv6 to Block).

You can upload or paste the support file here if you're overly bored (Logs tab > lifebelt icon), but I don't think it will help much.

As pointed out, this is not a fix, but a workaround. The actual cause is unknown, as is the solution, so please stay tuned.
