OpenVPN 2.3 beta

Hi!

I was wondering if we can use the 2.3 beta. I understand they fixed many issues and improved security even more. Is it possible to use that version with the AirClient? If so, would you mind giving a short instructional guide of how to set it up? Does everything of v.2.2 need to be removed for example?

Hello!

Yes, you can use it. You need to uninstall 2.2.2 completely (so you'll also have the new, improved TAP-Win32 adapter) and install 2.3_beta*.

Being a beta version, you should not expect the same stability of 2.2.2.

The airVPN app will not recognize the new version, but all you have to do is go to preferences in the AirVPN app and under where settings are saved just point it to the new file location:)

Not sure why the beta wouldn't be stable though...somehow I never have any problems with beta versions... just lucky I guess
