NoiselessOwl 26 Posted ... You are using a beta version of Eddie, beta usually come with bugs and issues. It is recommend to report the problem in the beta thread which is here. If you want to have a stable version of Eddie, then you should get 2.16.3 which is current stable version. Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted ... I was on 2.16.3 before testing 2.18.5 and had the same Issues with the M247 Servers. Quote Share this post Link to post
NoiselessOwl 26 Posted ... Since you are having the same issue with the stable version. Then we would request a log of Eddie to see what is the problem. It will likely to indicate something down the line. May you please post the log? Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted ... The ping was better earlier in the day. But now its abysmal again. The dutch servers and the german Leaseweb are perfectly fine. AirCore 0 Posted ... (edited) Hi, I see the same behavior on all German servers. Normally I have around 24 - 26 ms and look at the picture. Is now around 120ms, It started yesterday. Edited ... by AirCore Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted ... Seems to be an overload in the evening. For me it's most of the European M247 servers. This sucks, because I pretty much have to blacklist the M247 since they turn so bad in the evening. Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 10014 Posted ... Hello! We paste here an answer to a ticket with the same content for other readers' comfort. The first explanation that comes to mind is that your ISP has worse peering with M247 than with Leaseweb and our provider in the Netherlands. We add redundancy whenever possible exactly to maximize good peering likelihood with any residential ISP in the world. While you can't expect, of course, that your ISP will sooner or later have better peering with M247, you can pick those servers which can give you the best performance. Eddie (the Air client software) gives you the option to compile a white list or a black list of servers. If a white list is defined, Eddie will connect only to those servers included in that white list. If a black list is defined, Eddie will skip and ignore all the servers included in the black list. Guest Posted ... Thanks for the answer. The problem is that AirVPN is adding more and more M247 servers, and people who have a bad peering to them are screwed. I hope you diversify your server fleet more in the future. Quote Share this post Link to post

Our VPN infrastructure is based on 26.7% M247 servers which is approximately the same amount of M247 servers we had two years ago. Infrastructure redundancy is way more than 50%, so each provider is not critical by itself alone. Furthermore, and more importantly, you are wrong even with the amount of providers. We have never a better diversification of providers than we have now. We currently work with 31 different providers which is an all time high. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
