Custom ovpn profile Android client

Hi,

I use a custom .ovpn file on my desktop (using openvpn) I'm which I added the .airdns.org address for each country and use the remote-random directive to connect to a different country each time. It works very well. I see in the android Eddie client that I can add .ovpn files. It let's me add any config generated by the config generator however it will not accept my custom config. Is there a way to do this in the android client? I see I can add custom directives in the settings but remote-random wouldn't do much without a list of addresses.

We're sorry, OpenVPN 3 library, which is used by Eddie Android edition, currently does not handle "remote-random". All remote lines will be evaluated sequentially, with no random start. "remote-random" directive has always been missing in OpenVPN 3 main branch but now that we actively develop OpenVPN 3 AirVPN fork, we might implement it. We can't promise anything right now but stay tuned.
