AirVPN part of "14 Eye surveillance alliances"?

Dear AirVPN-Team,

I recently came across this article https://restoreprivacy.com/5-eyes-9-eyes-14-eyes/
As a loyal AIR user I started to be concerned about possibilities and scenarios on how AIR could somehow be involved in this. Despite all private policies and the strong trust that Air gained for years, the undenible fact is, that Italy, to which jurisdiction Air is belonging, is a part of the "14 Eyes surveillance alliance". From my years of experience with Air I know that Air is doing really a lot to keep their users privacy safe and therefore I'm still support Air. But taking in concideration such "possibilities" which are described in this article above, I'm asking myself, is there really something left that Air could do against the power of government which can force a company to hand over data and log users? I mean, imagine if the gov is knocking on the door and want force you to log users, as it is agreed whithin the "14 Eyes packt", what is Air willing to do and what price will you willing to pay for defending yourself and the users data?

I would appreciate your comment on this article and take on my questions.

Among the answers, one answer is that Air has on many occasions stated how it's not required that you trust AirVPN, if you follow the "partition of trust" way of doing things.
