[SOLVED] Unable to browse, DNS OK?

Recommended Posts

Using the AirVPN client on windows, I'm rather suddenly unable to browse. When I'm connected via the client, I get:

C:\l>nslookup google.com

Server: UnKnown

Address: 10.4.0.1

*** UnKnown can't find google.com: No response from server

When NOT connected, ...

C:\>nslookup google.com

Server: google-public-dns-a.google.com

Address: 8.8.8.8

Non-authoritative answer:

Hello!

Unfortunately nothing obvious: the logs are just fine and the TAP-Win32 Adapter looks properly configured.

Can you please send us your routing table (command "route print") before and after the connection and the output of "ipconfig /all" before and after the connection?

Kind regards

On a hunch, I reinstalled the "openvpn-installer" that is bundled in the windows client download, and that seems to have cleared up something, because it's working now.

Sorry for the false alarm.
