I keep getting told I'm "Already Connected"

Recommended Posts

I keep trying to log into the client and I keep getting told that I'm already connected, when I'm not. This website is well aware that I'm not connected, it seems strange to me that the client cannot tell this.

Here is the Airvpn log:

I also had this a few times. What seemed to solve it, is to first formally click "disconnect" in the AIRVPN client window. Then rightclick on the AirVPN icon in the taskbar (bottom right) and chose "exit". Then wait a few seconds, and then run AirVPN.exe again.

Think this issue was fixed recently and for me it is. Just close the client completely, wait 5 mins. then start it again... should work then.

Or don't use the Client at all and connect without the client completely.

Hello!

This is an unfortunate series of events, we apologize for any inconvenience.

In this case we have had a problem with Cygnus. The server went suddenly offline, we only now know that the service has been suspended without prior notice by the ISP. The server did not communicate anymore with the backend and the connected accounts to the server were not "freed" for a vicious bug which has now been fixed. You should have no more this issue, but should this problem occur again please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards

My airvpn client shows up green - and I regsiter a session on the client section of airvpn.org - but my ip is still visible and the speedtest on the site won't work because it thinks I haven't connected yet. SO FRUSTRATED

If in windows, use "control-alternate-delete" to bring up running processes, then close/stop 'ovenvpn.exe'

I have sometime found same problem as above "already connected". This corrected it.
