Staff 9972 Posted ... Hi, I am currently receiving poor speeds from all servers except two. http://imgur.com/Qmrl3Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated. ThanksHello!Speedtest can give you a relative index about which server to use, not an absolute one. Also, can you please repeat all the tests for port 443 TCP, 80 TCP and 53 UDP and publish the results, at your convenience? Thank you in advance.Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
zdrifter 5 Posted ... Don't know if this is the OP's problem, but am connected to Castor and am seeing latencies in the range of 2000-2800ms on all the EU servers .... except Sweden and the US servers which are 1-2ms ... did a trace to 8.8.8.8 and hop latency is 800-1200ms ... also seems intermittent with occasional drops in the EU servers back to normal latencies ... any insight ... and yes the latencies make it slow for me and short of connecting to US (NO) changing servers will not help ... cheers Quote Share this post Link to post

zdrifter 5 Posted ... @Admin Firstly, forgot some stuff I was going to add to previous message ... have been VERY satisfied with AirVPN since day one and glad I made the right choice ... you guys are the best ... that posting re:Leaks was undoubtedly very helpful to those trying to figure out a good Comodo config (I had it done, but liked some of the choices you made too) the other 'little' thing you do are also a big +!! As to the latency, still seeing it and if I disconnect and use my regular ISP latency is very low (<10ms). So, yes it is 'between' me and destination but if my first hop when connected is from US to 10.4.0.1 and the latency is ~1000ms what is that telling us (disconnected ping from here to 95.211.169.3 is ~180ms)? The latency figures I quoted in the previous post were what I see on the server status page and the results from several tracert runs. Cheers Quote Share this post Link to post
