sfo 0 Posted ... Hi, I have looked at the Remote Port Forwarding feature of AirVPN (which is great to have by the way!). I have several devices that I connect to AirVPN directly from the devices' network settings (not via a router). I would like to forward a remote port for only one of these devices. I see that it is possible to have separate device keys, in the Client Area. Is it possible to specify that a remote port should be forwarded for only a specific device, according to the keys used to connect? I would rather avoid having the remote port open for every device that connects through my account, as this is a potential security risk. Thanks very much, Quote Share this post Link to post

Is it possible to specify that a remote port should be forwarded for only a specific device, according to the keys used to connect? Hello! That is not possible: packets will be accepted and forwarded to your final node IP address from all the servers your account is connected to. It's not a big deal anyway (see below). I would rather avoid having the remote port open for every device that connects through my account, as this is a potential security risk. Thanks very much, Why? Just make sure that the port does not exist in the proper machines, that's all. Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
