Trouble connecting to airvpn.org while using AirVPN.

While connected to AirVPN using openvpn, I wasn't able to access airvpn.org.  I was connected to the Canada general IP, but I don't know which specific server for obvious reasons.  When I typed airvpn.org in my browser, I was told it was not found.  After disconnecting the VPN, I had no problems.  I haven't recently had errors like this while trying to access other sites when connected to AirVPN.

Recently I have had similar problems when using Canadian servers when trying to access sites on the .org domain. It seems that certain Air DNS servers won't resolve the .org domain address. The problem usually goes away when I switch to a different Canadian server. 

 

Because it has been more of a nuisance than a problem I haven't bothered keeping records of which Air DNS server hasn't worked when.

trying to connect from a Vancouver CA server got the attached img. I think VPN was working, though  I can't really say.

Similar issue - "unable to connect to server at AIRvpn.org" or "tubes clogged" error, (Ubuntu 18.04LTS) Eddie engaged, random select Canadian server, yet the problem is only with Firefox. Retry with Tor browser, it connects w/o issue every time.  A Firefox issue?

I have this issue in Opera so not specific to Firefox. But always a temporary issue usually fixed by changing to another Canadian server so not a big deal. 

 

And LZ1, airvpn.info does seem to be a workaround in my case, at least, so thank you for that suggestion.
