Slow VPN connection speed. Help!

When I connect to pretty much any servers available to me through AirVpn, my connection speed is about one third of what it is without my VPN connection. I'm not highly skilled with PCs, but I'm no luddite, either. Are there simple suggestions that you have that may increase the speed through my VPN? Please advise...

Hello!

Can you please try a connection to a TCP port (for example 80 TCP)? Some ISPs cap bandwidth on some or all UDP ports. Also, please test all the servers in order to determine the one which can give you the best performance.

I'm not sure how to do that on Windows 7, do you have any simple instructions on how I'd connect to a TCP port? Thanks!
