Hello: I have noticed that when I am connected to the Castor server, the DNS leak test shows the DNS servers belonging to google in the United States 74.125.189.23 and 74.125.189.20. Is it normal for a Netherlands connection to have American DNS servers? When the VPN is off, then I see my college's DNS server. Is it a correct understanding that if the DNS servers are in the United States, then a customer's web movements can be tracked by the American government despite the customer being connected to a non-American VPN server? Thank you Quote Share this post Link to post

In case of your connection to the VPN, not really, because the "American government" would anyway see the exit-IP address of the VPN server you're connected to.Kind regards Quote Share this post Link to post
