If you are using Eddie, go to Preferences > Networking > Layer IPv6: Inside tunnel or Block, depending on whether you want to use IPv6 or not. At the middle of the page I see my location in France. In Firefox, open about:config and change the key geo.enabled to false. As I don't use Chromium, no idea about that. And you don't need to restart the computer.
