8UPv-zSKDDVrK6i_Ua9X 0 Posted ... Hello For a couple weeks now, only Cynosura has been up and running in Vancouver. The other 4 servers being down for maintenance.Today I checked the status page again and saw that ALL Vancouver servers are marked for "imminent withdrawal".Are they being replaced with new ones? Or are you guys just getting rid of the only Canadian servers on the west coast? Being located in northern BC, I already have a pretty slow Internet access. Adding latency to connect to Toronto serverswill make it significantly slower, I hope you are not giving up on us on the west coast. Cheers Quote Share this post Link to post
Mahound 0 Posted ... Bump.Am in BC, and have noticed that the Vancity servers are pretty slow and tend to drop connections. Today noticed that they are down for imminent withdrawal. Plz advise. Are they being replaced or are they just going to serve Canada with the TO servers? Quote Share this post Link to post
Staff 9973 Posted ... Hello! We're glad to inform you that we plan to keep serving VPN even from the Vancouver area. We are testing a new provider to check if it fits our requirements since the current one does not. Kind regards 1 tom7812 reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
Montag 0 Posted ... Thanks for the great news! I live on the west coast but I've had the old Vancouver servers blacklisted for the past year because of unreliable speeds -- sometimes OK, but often slower than dial-up speeds. Today Eddie auto logged on to the new Pisces server. I ran Speedtest and got the highest speed ever. On the Toronto servers I usually get 25 - 40 Mbps, Pisces clocked in at 65 Mbps.
