AirVPN Client Won't Connect...?

So, two days ago I noticed that something was wrong with AirVPN. Whenever I tried to log in the message came up saying 'Failed to Connect'. Eventually I came to this website and realized my subscription had run out! I then paid for three months of service and tried again, thinking that things would work. Unfortunately, they didn't and still haven't. I can log into the client just fine, but when I select a server to connect to it just goes to the 'Connecting' screen and stays there until I eventually minimize the window or close it. It doesn't connect no matter what server I try to log in to. Anyone have a solution?

Hello!

Your local proxy is refusing connections on port 9050. Please make sure that your proxy is running, listening to port 9050 AND accepting connections on port 9050. Finally, please make sure that the proxy type matches the proxy type you have instructed OpenVPN to connect over (OpenVPN supports both http and SOCKS proxies).

If you don't need a proxy, you can connect without tunneling Air over the proxy. If you tell us what proxy it is, we might give you additional support.

How exactly do I change the proxy to one it will connect to?

Hello!

You must know the proxy IP address and the port it accepts connections on. If you don't have a proxy or don't know which proxy you want to use, just don't order OpenVPN to use a proxy: leave the "Proxy" field to "None". A proxy is useful to connect over Air over a proxy. If you just want to connect to the VPN, you don't need a proxy.

I tried that earlier and Air logged me out when I tried to connect and said 'Failed to start'. Here is the log from that:

I tried that earlier and Air logged me out when I tried to connect and said 'Failed to start'. Here is the log from that:

That line is quite self-explanatory. If you can't manage to install a TAP-Win32 adapter with the dedicated program, probably the OpenVPN installation did not perform correctly. In this case please do the following:

- completely uninstall OpenVPN from your Control Panel

- re-install OpenVPN 2.2.2 with administrator privileges and make sure that you authorize it to install any driver it requires during the installation
